PROJECT

Nutstuff Website and CRM Implementation

Challenge

Nutstuff is an FCA-regulated independent investment research provider that aims to inform on market drivers at both a macro and micro level. Having set up the business several years ago and built a successful subscription model to drive revenue, the business owners were keen to upgrade their website and provide a better user experience for customers. In addition, limited data management and better engagement tools for sending bi/triweekly newsletters were core objectives of the project.

Solution

Ecosse 64 initially set about redesigning the existing website to provide a more engaging and easier-to-use interface, while still running off the existing web platform. Following the new design, a new nav structure, page layout and subscription process were introduced to the site, as well as a 'mobile-first' approach to ensure that users had the best experience regardless of device. Once complete, Ecosse 64 set about integrating HubSpot as the marketing automation platform for the business. Specifically, new newsletter templates were created to provide flexible options surrounding content type and length. In addition, contact lists based on different segmentation criteria were created, allowing the team to send personalised emails to different audiences simultaneously and providing detailed analytical feedback to allow for content evolution going forward.

Outcome

Initial feedback on the website has been very positive, and the rollout of the new newsletter approach is set to launch in Q1 2023. However, in tests, the business was able to reduce the need for eight separate newsletter templates down to a single version and the time to produce the newsletter was reduced by over 65% to date.
